"Zai San Bei," as the first Chinese-style pub brand, pioneered the combination of Chinese cuisine with a pub-style atmosphere. By adopting a combination of restaurant, pub, and izakaya (Japanese-style pub), it stood out from the multitude of music and sake bars. In the special year of 2022, Zai San Bei expanded from one location to over 70+ locations by 2023, with branches opened in 15 regions and municipalities in China, including Fujian, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Chongqing, Hubei, Shanghai, Guangxi, Ningxia, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, and Shaanxi. In 2023, it also ventured into the overseas market, specifically Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The lively atmosphere with a sense of festivity, a feeling of closeness, delicious dishes, and fresh draft beer – all of these break away from the traditional perception of Sichuan restaurants as being "oily, numbing, and spicy."
